3-D ist in. 3-D macht was her. Dafür verschiebt man schon mal einen Starttermin. Das betrifft den CLASH OF THE TITANS, unter anderem mit Liam Neeson (SCHINDLER’S LIST, TAKEN) als Zeus. Da wird der Startermin um eine Woche nach hinten verschoben. Der Film läuft am nun am 2. April diesen Jahres in S3D (stereoscopic 3D) in den US-Kinos an.
Chris Bond, der Chef Prime Focus‹ View-D, die das’Makeover‹ erledigen sagt:: »We view this as a 10-week project. We started fully a week ago in full swing«.
»Ten weeks is really tight,« sagt Tim Sassoon von Sassoon Filmworks, einem etablierten S3D Conversion Shop. »You’re not really going to be producing final shots right away. So in your last five weeks you have 40 shots a day to be finalled (assuming 1,500 shots for the whole movie). That’s a tall order for anyone, especially for a company that’s never done this before.«
Und weil Warner so schön in Schwung ist, erleidet auch Harry Potter, der siebte das gleiche Schicksal.
